The Braintree Police Working Dog Foundation, Inc. is a non-profit corporation, duly registered with the Secretary of the Commonwealth and Internal Revenue Service. An advanced ruling by the Internal Revenue Service has determined us to be a non-profit, 501(c)(3) tax-exempt, public charitable organization. The BPWDF operates with the approval of the Mayor and the endorsement of the Police Chief. No person(s) affiliated with our organization receives any income whatsoever. There are no "middle men." All monies received are used to further the purpose of the organization.  Our foundation is sustained entirely by donations and contributions from the public at large. 

The purpose and ultimate goal of the BPWDF is to provide the Braintree Police Department with sufficient funds to maintain an exceptional canine program whereby one dog team will be available during every working shift, twenty four hours per day, seven days per week. With your help, this program will increase public safety within the Braintree community, and, significantly enhance the personal safety of our police officers who are sworn to protect it.
